This CEO made another success after launching a new brand called “THE DINE” following the brand “DINTSTYLE”. Here is an interview with CEO Shin Su-Jin to hear about her success story of online business.
Q1. Please introduce about your online business ‘THE DINT’.
THE DINT is a Korean fashion online specialty store for women’s clothing especially suits with luxurious and refined style. We carry very special products that they cannot be found at any other online stores. Unique colors of Korean dresses are very popular among customers.
Q2. What does ‘THE DINT’ mean?
THE DINT is a neologism and stands for “Double Income No time”, meaning/representing a couple working together for a living as known as working couples. THE DINT is launched through cafe24’s e-commerce platform, in order to provide convenient and high standard of shopping environment for these customers.
Q3. How do you communicate with your customers? Is there any special way to deal with it?
THE DINT has communicated with customers in many various ways. One of them is doing social media channel, ‘Facebook’. We post any tips or THE DINT’s news regarding from life information to preparation process of fashion shows and pictures of the scenes.
Q4. Would you please tell us your plans or goals?
We already entered the market in China by selling products through Jamy, one of the Chinese online marketplaces. We will plan to enter the markets in Japan and Singapore soon. We will also plan to make the mobile version of the website actively.
